G'day to all the members we have out there,

Well it has come to that time of the year again where the new committee changes over with the old and try to destroy all the good work that has been done in the past! The reigns have now changed hands and it is on for young and old. If you thought the Rudd government's promises were you haven't experience the FAPA over-commitment yet. This year promises to be the best one you will experience in 2008 (where is the logic) with BBQ extravaganzas and events ta-boot! With the potential addition of a FAPA dedicated watering hole - The Toxteh Hotel in Glebe - and possible collaboration with the undergraduate Agricultural Society (Ag. Soc.) this year should prove to be, at the very least, interesting.

By now I hope all the budding postgraduate students have attended our welcoming BBQ which was held on the 11Mar08. This was a massive turn out, with nary a skerrick of tofu or snag to be found in the aftermath; hopefully a sign of events to come. "Where was my invite?" I hear the more seasoned postgraduates cry out. Well I put it to you that any good postgraduate should be able to sniff out a free BBQ without any announcement, however if your nose is blocked I direct you to the FAPA website ( http://usydfapa.spaces.live.com/ ) or the FAPA notice board which is in the Watt Common room (in the Watt Building up the first stairs and to the right).

So, keep your senses alert and we will do our darndest to keep you up to date with the buzzing social scene that is the Faculty of Agriculture Food and Natural Resources.
